The quantity and type of information collected depend on your interaction method. We may use your mobile phone number to complete account verification. If you provide a mobile phone number, you consent to receive verification text messages or calls from LigaChat; customer service personnel may also use this number to communicate necessary matters with you. We will use your email address for account verification and service-related communications.

You can remain relatively anonymous on LigaChat, but please note: your posts, comments, shared content, username, and other information are publicly visible by default. We will never ask you for your password or other account information via email. If you receive such fraudulent emails, please forward them directly to us for verification.

If you register a LigaChat account through a third-party service (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Instagram, VK) or bind your LigaChat account with a third-party account, we will obtain the public information of that third-party service, including username, gender, avatar, birthday, etc. We will use the birthday information to verify whether you have reached the legal minimum age to use the Services; at the same time, we will use your contact information (such as phone number) to complete account authentication and ensure the security of the account and services.

The Services default all shared content to a public state. Once the content you provide to us is published, anyone can view it, including search engines. Public content may be copied and re-disseminated on the Internet (such as through the Platform's sharing, forwarding, and re-sharing functions). LigaChat is fundamentally a public interactive platform. We advise you to be cautious about posting content — once content is forwarded multiple times, it is very difficult to completely remove it from the Internet.

The Services support core interaction operations such as liking, commenting, sharing, and replying to posts. These actions are public actions, and anyone can view the interacting users through the "activity" view of the post. We will use this interaction information to optimize services and develop new features, especially to personalize your LigaChat experience, including recommending relevant content, optimizing search results, and displaying advertisements that match your interests.

When posting text, pictures, videos, GIFs, or performing actions like liking, replying, and commenting, you should carefully consider the appropriateness of the published content.

We may collect metadata and auxiliary information related to the content you post, such as content view/replay records, and content metadata. If you post pictures, we may collect camera models, shooting settings, EXIF information, etc. This information is used solely to optimize services and expand functionalities.

Certain features of the Services support uploading a contact list to help match you with friends who are using LigaChat. Only after you grant authorization will we read your device's address book information. For example, we may synchronize your address book through the mobile app to show you platform users you can follow, or display your account information to platform users who have already stored your phone number.

Your account information is protected by password encryption. In the future, we will gradually roll out more security features such as multi-factor authentication. You need to prevent unauthorized access by setting strong, unique passwords, logging out in a time-effective manner after use, and limiting device and browser access permissions.

We do our best to protect your information security, but no security system is absolutely hack-proof. We cannot absolutely guarantee that information will not be accessed or used without authorization, nor do we assume security risks caused by force majeure such as hardware failures or software vulnerabilities.

If you need to cancel your account or delete user data, registration information, and chat records, you can go to [Me] - [Setting] in the app, locate the "Delete Account" entry, and click confirm to complete account cancellation and clear all usage traces.

Important Reminder: Even if you delete your account or profile, copies of information previously shared, copied, or stored by others may still be viewable. We cannot control third-party actions and assume no responsibility for them. If you have authorized third-party applications/websites to access personal information, they will retain the relevant information in accordance with their terms.
